I would like to share one of my almost daily staple foods:
Trader Joe's Tahini Sauce. I can literally put this on everything. It's
non-dairy and creamy delicious. It goes on my steamed veggies, grains,
legumes, salads and even fruit. I put it on sandwiches too. Mix it with a little
water to thin it out. SO GOOD!
If you don't have Trader Joe's in your area, you can make it yourself by mixing 2 parts Tahini (sesame seed butter, like peanut butter, not dairy butter), with 1 part lemon, 1 part
water, some smashed garlic and Himalayan or sea salt to taste. Stir well
with a fork until creamy.
Welcome!
Hi, welcome to my blog.
Thanks for stopping by! Ever since becoming a vegetarian at 14, in
Arkansas, where people thought I was going to die if I didn't eat meat,
I've been on my own path to health through nutrition, and wellness,
physically, mentally and spiritually. I've learned to listen to my body,
and study enough where I can speak its language. It brings me joy to
share what I've learned and am learning along the way, with others, so I
present to you this blog, in hopes that I can make things a little more
inspiring, fun and easy for you, on your path. Happy trails!
